Let us do your dirty work!

We do the jobs you don't want to do — like service and maintenance of your restaurant grease traps. The grease trap is a device that keeps cooking grease, that is washed off cooking appliances and kitchenware, from getting into your drains and sewers and causing significant problems and backups.

Grease traps can be located either inside or outside your kitchen depending on the volume of business and size of your operation. We specialize in providing service on the small grease traps located inside the building. We designed a specialized system with smaller hoses and pumps that allows us to be less invasive than other pumping services.

This means we get the job completed in a quick, efficient manner that won't get in the way of your day to day business.

Grease Trap Basics

As water enters the drainage system of your sink, it's routed to the grease trap which slows the rate the water travels, allowing it to cool, and the grease to be separated by baffles. Once the water has cooled enough for the grease to separate and solidify, it is allowed to continue traveling through the drain and into the municipal water system.

Grease Trap Maintenance

To prevent blockages and backups from occurring, you should have your grease trap serviced on a regular basis. A good rule of thumb is to schedule service when 25% of the liquid level in the trap is grease or oil. Depending on the volume of business you have, this could be once a month or every other month. It is important to have the trap cleaned and emptied regularly, because a full trap is no longer effective.

With regular scheduled cleanings the amount of grease and oil getting into private and municipal sewer lines will be greatly reduced. If regular maintenance is neglected, costly drain cleaning or sewer line televising are sure to be added to your business costs. You may also find that you will incur additional fees from the local municipality.
